Make a note of when the TAX on your vehicle is up for renewal, as with no visible tax disk on display it is easy to forget!

The Police now use Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), the system exchanges data with the DVLA database which keeps a record of all taxed and untaxed vehicles.

If you are found to be parking or driving on the road without valid Tax this may result in the vehicle being either clamped or impounded and you will also be given an automatic Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN).
